Cromer has a recurring role as Charlene "Charlie" Lukaitis, a third-year medical student who is excited about this rotation and the chance to work with her hero, Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore). Like Shaun, she has Autism Spectrum Disorder and has idolized him since she first saw the viral video of him saving a boy's life at the San Jose airport. She is powerful and energetic and her passion for surgery is perhaps matched only by her love for Taylor Swift.
Jonez (pictured right) plays Dominick “Dom” Hubank, also a third-year medical student who hopes this surgical rotation is just a box to check off on his path to becoming a primary care physician in his underserved community. But this former football player learns he's not as tough as he seems when he faints at the sight of blood. Too big to fail, Dom must overcome his newfound hemophobia. He needs his colleague and friend Charlie.
Cromer (pictured left) became known for her role as Matilda Moss in the Freeform comedy series Everything's Gonna Be Okay. She was the first autistic actor to play an autistic lead character in a television series and works as an activist trying to end the stigma of being autistic.
Jonez played the role of Christopher 'Biggie' Wallace/The Notorious B.I.G. on television. in the anthology series Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. from USA Network. He also appeared in Hulu's Reprisal and had guest-starring roles on Magnum, P.I. from CBS, NBC's Young Rock and Hulu's Wu-Tang: An American Saga.
